The Sharks have retained the services of New Zealand internationals Annessa Biddle and Brooke Anderson until at least the end of the 2025 NRLW season.
The pair, who were previously without a contract for 2024 onwards, have each agreed to two-year extensions after starring in the club’s debut season in the competition last year.
Biddle, a centre or winger who arrived at the club straight from playing club football in Auckland, claimed the NRLW Rookie of the Year gong last year and later joined Anderson in the national team for the Pacific Championships.
“Annessa had an extraordinary 2023… she’s powerful, she’s strong and works incredibly hard on her game,” coach Tony Herman said.
“I think in 2024 she’ll go ahead even further.
“[Brooke is] a local girl whose game is developing, particularly at No.9 and 13.
“She’s a great asset to the club.”
