An argument between NRLW star Jessica Sergis and her mother Jenny in January 2023 led to NSW Police applying for an AVO, now the case has gone to court.
An argument between NRLW star Jessica Sergis and her mother Jenny while on the way back from a function to their Maroubra home in January 2023 resulted in NSW Police being called, and applying for an apprehended violence order (AVO) against Mrs Sergis on behalf of her daughter. No charges were laid.
The case was set for hearing on Monday, but with the NSW Blues star in camp ahead of the start of women’s State of Origin this Thursday she did not attend court, resulting in the matter being dismissed.
Mrs Sergis’ lawyer Paul McGirr told The Daily Telegraph both she and her daughter were glad the matter was over but that they were not impressed it had made it to court in the first place.
