ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Binghamton University women’s tennis team opens its fall schedule at the Naval Academy’s Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational Friday, Sept. 8. The Bearcats are set to compete through the weekend, Sept. 8-10, at the Fluegel-Moore Tennis Stadium.
“”The tournament with Navy is always really challenging, they are just super disciplined and are always willing to hit 100 balls in a rally, that’s just the military academy mindset,” said Head Coach Libby McGovern. “It’s a different dynamic that they have than what we see on a daily basis.”
Binghamton, along with Fairleigh Dickinson, George Mason, Lehigh, Mary Washington, Monmouth and St. Bonaventure are slated to play in the invitational.
