South Sydney have fired back at Bulldogs’ General Manager of football Phil Gould, who suggested fullback Latrell Mitchell has yet to deliver in the big moments.
Gould made the comments on Channel 9’s 100% Footy on Monday night, stating, “put him on the big stage in front of 50,000 in a preliminary final and he hasn’t done it yet. That’s where he has got to do it, he still hasn’t done that part yet and he’s got to do it.”
Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly slammed Gould’s comments, labelling the Bulldogs supremo’s criticism of other clubs as “tiresome”.
