Sam Burgess looks set to leave Souths at the end of 2023 to take up a head coaching role with the Warrington Wolves in the UK Super League, but Matty Johns says he will be back in the NRL as a head coach soon.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported Warrington are in negotiations with Burgess for the head coaching role in 2024 and the former Souths premiership winner is the frontrunner for the job.
The Rabbitohs have been made aware of Burgess’ interest in the Warrington job and are preparing to be without him in 2024.
