Joey Lussick has returned to the Parramatta Eels after being granted an early release from his contract with Super League outfit St Helens.
The hooker’s arrival completes a multi-club switch in the last few days which has seen Moses Mbye depart from the Dragons in order to take up a deal with the Saints as a result of Lussick’s exit.

The mid-season switch for Lussick has also come in the wake of the injury issues facing Josh Hodgson which may reportedly force the experienced No.9 into retirement.

Brendan Hands has been operating as the Eels’ first-choice hooker ever since the English international was withdrawn from the side with a neck complaint after last featuring in Round 13 against the Cowboys.
