Sharks superstar Nicho Hynes has been cleared of misconduct after he directed a frustrated outburst directed at touch judge Belinda Sharpe on Sunday afternoon.
The 27-year-old reigning Dally M Medallist threw an arching cut-out ball to Sione Katoa in the second half against Manly as the score sat 30-4.
The Cronulla winger scored the try before referee Peter Gough signalled for a forward pass, prompting Hynes to raise three fingers and walk towards Sharpe.

It remains unclear what Hynes’ said to the touch judge but the on-field referee was quick to silence the superstar halfback who continued to hold up three fingers.
“Nicho, Nicho, come here,” Gough said in a stern manner.
