Huge news out of Red Hill with the management of Broncos forward Payne Haas confirming the star forward will test himself on the open market.
Haas is contracted to the Broncos until the end of the 2024 season but the Brisbane-based side has been unable to convince him to sign an extension.
Haas will become available on the open market from November 1. That is the date players become fair game for rival teams as long as those teams don’t try and get them to break their current deal.

The 23-year-old is contracted with the Broncos for 2024, but from November 1 can sign with another club for 2025 and beyond. Being one of the best forwards in the world, there’s no doubt he’ll be one of, if not the most sought-after free agent.
