The Matildas will meet Denmark for a spot in the FIFA Women’s World Cup quarter-finals.
The Danes were confirmed as Australia’s round-of-16 opponents after the completion of Group D on Wednesday night.
Demark, ranked 13th in the world, beat Haiti 2-0 in Perth to secure second spot in the group, three points behind first-placed England, who thrashed China 6-1 in Adelaide.
The Matildas will meet the Danes in Sydney on Monday, while England will head to Brisbane to face Nigeria – who finished second in Group B behind Australia – on the same night.
