International students allowed extended stay under special pandemic visas

Labor has allowed tens of thousands of international students and workers to have their stays extended under a pandemic event visa established in 2020. The Albanese government has processed nearly 66,000 special COVID-19 visas between June and March – more than were given when international borders were shut.
