One of the biggest confectionery companies in the world is debuting a brand new chocolate treat that ties in another huge love for Aussies.

One of the world’s most common artificial sweeteners is set to be declared a possible carcinogen next month by a leading global health body, according to two sources with knowledge of the process, pitting it against the food industry and regulators. Julian Satterthwaite reports.

Mars Wrigley announced the debut of M&M’S Mocha Mudcake on August 2, with fans of the iconic brand warned to get in fast for the limited-time treat.

The huge confectionary company knows that 75 per cent of Aussies drink coffee daily and this new sweet treat is trying to tap into that.
