Gabriel Jesus will undergo scan for hamstring injury picked up in Arsenal’s win in Sevilla, but the Brazilian forward is ‘pretty sure it will be nothing’



Gabriel Jesus will undergo a scan in the coming days for a hamstring injury picked up in Sevilla, but he is confident that it is not a serious issue.

The Arsenal forward scored the second of their two goals as they ran out 2-1 winners in Spain to move back top of their Champions League group. 

Jesus was then taken off limping in the 81st minute after he seemed to tweak something as he rode a challenge from Boubakary Soumare

But talking to TNT Sports after the win, Jesus was confident that the hamstring injury was not a serious issue, although the medical team will check to confirm. 

The 26-year-old Brazilian said: ‘I felt something. Let’s see. I did some tests with the physio, it looks not that big, but let’s see. I have a scan, maybe tomorrow. I’m pretty sure it will be nothing.’
