Manchester United return to Old Trafford desperate to get back to winning ways when they host Brentford on Saturday.
Erik ten Hag’s side have lost their last two home games, falling to a 1-0 defeat against Crystal Palace before Tuesday’s humbling 3-2 Champions League loss against Galatasaray. Those results have capped off United’s worst start to a season for 37 years, with frustration mounting among supporters.
The club have launched an investigation into the scenes on Tuesday that saw around 1,000 home tickets sold to Galatasaray fans. A large group of fans were seated together in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, while hundreds more in the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand flocked towards the away end to join in with the celebrations.
