The Cowboys have handed veteran utility Jake Granville a contract extension ahead of his 200th NRL appearance in Round 21.
Granville’s tenure in North Queensland will now extend in to a 10th season, continuing until the end of 2024.
The 34-year-old has played 189 games for the Cowboys and has won a premiership with the club in 2015, having been one of Todd Payten’s most important players this season.

“We’re ecstatic Jake has decided to extend for another year,” Cowboys General Manager of Football Micheal Luck said in a club statement.
