Blues coach Brad Fittler has addressed his future as the NSWRL face a huge decision regarding the future of their head coaching position after losing back-to-back Origin series.
If NSW were to lift the Origin shield in 2023 a clause in Fittler’s contract would have triggered an extension to his contract for a further year.
However, after a loss in the series opener Fittler admitted he was coaching for his future in the final two games at Suncorp and Accor Stadium.

“It’s a contractual thing, that’s a fact and the nature of coaching… there’s no hiding from it,” Fittler told the SMH.
