Dragons coach Anthony Griffin has confirmed Tariq Sims is free to look elsewhere, reigniting whispers the club could be set to make a big play for Panthers star Viliame Kikau.
Sims is contracted until the end of next season and met with Dragons officials this week about a possible extension.
The Dragons though told Sims that while they would honour his deal for next season, he is free to take a long-term offer from a rival club.
