James Tedesco has long proven he belongs in elite company, with an accomplished career that ranks the Roosters fullback among some of the best in the game at his position.
But often in sport we have a habit of underappreciating greatness, while at the same time clamouring for something shiny and new. This year, that is Reece Walsh.
Of course, this isn’t Walsh’s first season in the NRL. He already had two years at the Warriors under his belt before heading back to Red Hill.
But this is the first year that Walsh has really put it all together at the NRL level, seeing the 21-year-old earn his maiden appearance in the State of Origin arena.
