The Central Coast product grew up listening to his mum’s advice: Always practice your goalkicking. It adds another string to your bow, it sets you apart and could be what gives you a career-defining moment.
Mrs Keighran was right.
A big factor in the Roosters’ decision to sign the former Warrior was his goalkicking.
Then, after travelling along as a Mr. Fix It for the Roosters, a five-eighth that’s filled in at centre and hooker, Keighran put his name on the map last Friday when he iced a thrilling win over the Broncos with a clutch penalty goal.
It was the biggest moment of his 20-game career so far.
