Motorsports icon Valentino Rossi has revealed his wife Francesca Sofia Novello is pregnant with their first child.
Rossi shared the news to his 11.1 million Instagram followers on Wednesday alongside a series of bizarre pictures of the happy couple.
Wearing a white doctor’s coat, the 42-year-old MotoGP legend holds a stethoscope up to his wife’s stomach and grins awkwardly at the camera.

“After a careful visit we can tell you that Franci is pregnant! We are waiting for a girl,” Rossi captioned the post, which quickly generated more than 1.3 million likes.
The 27-year-old Novello wrote in a separate post: “You and me will be three. My heart is full of joy.”
Rossi adopted the nickname “The Doctor” early in his MotoGP career.
