Tim Tszyu has shrugged off suggestions he has a “hittable” style, and less power than Brian Mendoza, while also refusing to get into a staring competition with his American rival during their first interaction of fight week, saying: “I’m not into that s…, man”.
Set to defend his WBO super welterweight championship for the first time on the Gold Coast this Sunday, Tszyu sat down with Mendoza on Wednesday afternoon for a ‘Face Off’ interview hosted by Main Event’s Ben Damon.
While both fighters made several revelations throughout the 30 minutes, it was near the end where things heated up most.
