Tributes flowed on Wednesday after Henry Olonga shared that Streak, who has been battling colon and liver cancer, had died aged 49.

Zimbabwean media later quoted Streak’s mother and a family spokesperson confirming the former cricketer is alive, “fine, walking about and cracking jokes”.
