Australia should transition to nuclear to support renewables

Australia needs to transition to nuclear energy to support renewables and reach net zero, Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley acknowledged. “If we want to get to that clean emissions future – that zero emissions future – we do need nuclear, we do need it to support renewables,” Ms Ley told Sky News Australia. “The rest of the world is advancing to small modular reactors and microreactors.”
