West Coast and Hawthorn have agreed to a deal for Tyler Brockman, with the Eagles sending two late picks to the Hawks in exchange for the small forward.
The deal was approved by AFL House on Saturday, with West Coast parting with a third-round selection (currently 44) and a fourth-round pick (currently 63).
“We were keen on Tyler in his initial draft year so it is very pleasing to have this deal done that now brings him to the club,” Eagles list manager Rohan O’Brien said.
“Doing the deal at this stage means that Tyler can be here for the start of pre-season and he has certainty as he prepares to bring his young family home.”
Brockman, 20, requested a trade back to WA earlier this year after 20 games and 23 goals in three seasons at the Hawks, having been drafted with pick No.46 in 2020.
The Subiaco product picked West Coast over Fremantle because of his prior relationship with the club as well as his close friendship with forward Liam Ryan.
