German car-maker’s 250kW electric seven-seat people-mover adapts styling cues from VW Golf R hot hatch
Our European spy photographers have captured pre-launch images of a long-wheelbase Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX pottering around Wolfsburg with pretty much all of its sporty design cues on full display.
Devoid of any kind of camouflage but missing all of its model and variant-specific badging, the hotter GTX-spec seven-seat electric people-mover is fitted with a completely new front bumper that mimics the lower frontal design elements of the flagship VW Golf R hot hatch and is finished with sportier-looking black honeycomb mesh.
Other unique touches include unique five-spoke alloy wheels, black D-pillar elements and the omission of the standard ID. Buzz LWB’s square window cut-out behind the B-pillar.
