There are only 30 players still competing in the 2023 PGA Tour season for a FedEx Cup title. As those 30 prepare to head to the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, several will come in with an edge over the remainder of the field.

Throughout the season, golfers accumulate points for the FedEx Cup based on performances. But players gain larger point totals for their performances in the FedEx St. Jude Championship and the BMW Championship.

Those points help determine which golfers will begin play on Thursday with an advantage, and which will head in on par.
