The PGA Tour on Tuesday released a 973-word statement that would rock the sporting world, and change the game of golf as we know it forever.
Not one of those shocking 973 words was Greg, or Norman.
Having fought a bitter crusade as the frontman of LIV Golf for nearly two years, Greg Norman was a curious omission from the statement announcing the controversial circuit would unify with the PGA Tour.
The statement spoke about the need for unification to grow the game of golf globally — something Norman incessantly claimed he was fighting for throughout the game’s ugly dispute.
