Ruffels finished three shots clear of Americans Katherine Smith (69) and Becca Hufner (70). Queenslander Robyn Choi (70) finished at six under and T8, which was her fourth top-10 of the year.
This was Ruffels’ third Epson Tour win of 2023 and has extended her lead at the top of the Epson Tour’s money list, which has all but guaranteed the 23-year-old Victorian will earn her playing card on the LPGA for 2024 at season’s end with the top-10 players earning promotion.
The 2019 U.S Women’s Amateur Champion set up the win at South Bend CC in Indiana with a bogey-free second round 65. In fact, she only had one bogey in 54 holes, which came at the par-4 2nd in the final round.
