Football Australia has issued a further eight bans to spectators as the fallout from the mass pitch invasion during an A-League game continues, with the tally of bans issued now standing at ten.
The incident, which took place at AAMI Park last Saturday night during a match between Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City, saw more than 150 spectators storm onto the field during the first half, with a goalkeeper hospitalised as a result.
Football Australia’s latest round of bans range from five to 20 years, with the sanctions effective immediately and precluding them from “all related football activity”.
