Leandro Trossard speaks out on lack of Arsenal game time this season under Mikel Arteta

Leandro Trossard has opened up on his lack of game time with Arsenal this term, admitting that he isn’t worried considering how long the season is.

Trossard joined the Gunners during the January transfer window, signing from Brighton & Hove Albion for a fee in the region of £27million. Since then, the Belgian international has hit the ground running, netting two goals and providing a whopping ten assists for the north Londoners across all competitions.




But he has struggled for game time so far this season, playing just 62 minutes across Arsenal’s first four Premier League outings. When asked about his lack of action, the 28-year-old told Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws, via Arseblog: “I don’t know how the national coach feels about that [his role at Arsenal].

“I am still convinced that I will play enough matches. I will be ready for the European Championship.
