Essendon may be “preaching” a focus on the future, but Fox Footy’s Mark Robinson has slammed the mindset and urged the club not to give players “an out” for the rest of the season.
Coach Brad Scott this week said he had a “really strong focus on the long term” and was adamant this year was about trying to “set a path for the future”.
But it’s the timing of his comments that frustrated Robinson, given the Bombers are 9-9 and head into this weekend’s clash against Sydney off the back of two horror losses.
