Gold Coast has been left “extremely disappointed” after star co-captain Touk Miller was suspended for Saturday’s clash against Adelaide after further investigation into his incident with Dayne Zorko.
The AFL on Thursday night confirmed Miller had been handed a one-game suspension after the league launched further inquiries into the incident, despite the MRO on Sunday clearing Miller of any wrongdoing following his contact with Zorko during the Round 20 Q-Clash.
After Zorko’s radio comments about the incident and “the provision of a further medical report”, according to the AFL, an investigation was conducted by the league in which both players were interviewed and the vision was reviewed.
