IN EXCITING news for Dees fans, Bayley Fritsch will look to be available for selection ahead of the side’s Round 24 match against Sydney.
After sustaining a foot fracture during a marking contest, Fritsch had been sidelined since Round 16.
Melbourne’s High Performance Manager Selwyn Griffith said the 26-year-old was tracking well to make a return to play this weekend.
“He’s completed a good block of training following his surgery,” Griffith told Melbourne Media.
“He almost full trained last week and completed a match-load session on the weekend.
“So, he’ll full train this week and will be available for selection.”
In other news on the injury front, Michael Hibberd has been sidelined following an incident in the VFL on Sunday.
