Football Australia today announces the retirement of Mark Bresciano from its Board of Directors, whilst continuing his role on the Football Development Committee.

Bresciano, a distinguished former Socceroo and a member of the Football Australia Hall of Fame, is stepping down from his board position to devote more time to his family and other business interests.

Since joining the Football Australia Board in 2019, Bresciano has been pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of our sport, particularly in enhancing the pathways to our national teams, the Subway Socceroos and the CommBank Matildas. His deep understanding of football, combined with his strong business acumen, has significantly contributed to strengthened programs, and bolstered our national and international standing.
