Andrew McQualter has quit his position as caretaker coach at Richmond after missing out on the top job. McQualter had been with the club for 10 years and took over as coach this season when Damien Hardwick stepped down. Despite winning seven games in his 11-game tenure, McQualter was not chosen for the full-time position. The Tigers instead hired Adem Yze. McQualter has decided to seek a position at another AFL club after considering his options. Richmond thanked him for his service and acknowledged his contributions to the team’s success over the years.
