A big finals series has propelled GWS superstar Toby Greene to his second club champion honour in another reward for a career best season.
Greene, who booted a career-high 66 goals while playing his most ever games in a single season, became the third dual Kevin Sheedy medallist on Thursday night, equalling Lachie Whitfield and Josh Kelly.
The captain edged past midfield duo Stephen Coniglio and Tom Green with his strong finals series to win by 71 votes to 66, leaving the pair as equal runners-up.
It came as Errol Gulden was recognised for his breakout season with his first Bob Skilton Medal as Sydney’s champion player.
The skilful left-footer won emphatically with 738 votes from Nick Blakey (481) and James Rowbottom (471), who recorded his second consecutive top three finish.
