As the calendar flips into March, cricket in Australia starts to fade away and overtaken by the country’s most popular sports – Australian rules football and rugby league.
Even though there is still the business end of the domestic season to finish, while Australia is in nearby New Zealand for a Test and T20 tour, cricket becomes mostly invisible.
