India’s Jasprit Bumrah delivered a masterclass in reverse swing to crush England with his best-ever Test figures on home soil.
Bumrah claimed 6-45 including a sensational yorker, dismissing England for 253 and handing India a 143-run first-innings lead, which they extended with 28 runs without loss before stumps.
“He has been nothing short of magnificent today,” Kevin Pietersen said in commentary.

Former England spinner Phil Tufnell said on BBC: “That is a serious five-fer for Jasprit Bumrah when his side really needed him.
