Cricket Australia has released fixtures for the 2021-22 Big Bash Season with the competition concluding before February for the first time since 2017, and endeavouring to return to a full home-and-away schedule.
The past four seasons have extended into the last month of summer, with the longest being the 2018-19 season which finished on February 17.
But for the first time in four years, the season is scheduled to end within the school holidays, with the final slated for Friday, January 28.

Before then, there will be a regular season of 56 games in 46 days, running between December 5 and January 19, featuring several double-headers and a final day triple-header.
