West Indies legend Chris Gayle has returned to form in stunning fashion, putting Australia to the sword in the third T20 to condemn the tourists to a series defeat in straight-sets.
Having lost the first two T20s on the weekend, Australia won the toss in St Lucia on Tuesday (AEST) and batted first, making 6-141 in an innings that never got out of second gear.
In reply, Gayle — who was out of form and hadn’t made a T20I half century since 2016 — was also labouring following the early wicket of Andre Fletcher.
