Australia announced a 18-member preliminary squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.
In a big setback for the Australian cricket team ahead of the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India, pace bowler Jhye Richardson has been ruled out of preliminary World Cup squad. Jhye Richardson has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury which he found back in January 2023 and is still recovering from the same.
Due to which he found no place in Australia’s limited-overs tour of South Africa before the World Cup. Australia announced a preliminary squad for their preparatory tour of India and South Africa. Marnus Labuschagne also has been dropped from the Australian squad.
