Cameron Smith doesn’t deny LIV Golf rumours

Only moments after Cameron Smith won The Open Championship, his name was sensationally linked to Saudi-backed rival tour LIV Golf — claims he didn’t deny.

Smith won the Claret Jug at St Andrews on Monday morning and was all smiles during his post-play press conference until one local reporter asked him about the rumours.

The reporter said that in his conversations during the week, Smith’s name had come up as a player who could be lured to the rebel tour, fronted by countryman Greg Norman.
