Michael Jordan and Steve Kerr, two of the key players in the famous Chicago Bulls team, the focus of the Netflix docuseries The Last Dance, have revealed their deep regret that former teammate Luc Longley was omitted from it altogether.
Longley played a key role in what is considered by many to be the greatest sports team of all time, winning three of the team’s six NBA championships with Jordan in the 1990s.
So when the 7ft 2in Aussie giant sat down to watch his greatest achievements in film, he was stunned to see that, other than getting in the background of a Jordan close up, he had been wiped from the history of that Bulls team.
“Sitting there on the couch and watching episode after episode where I wasn’t in it — yeah, I was bummed about that,” Longley said, via the ABC.
