It was all set up perfectly for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Brooklyn Nets had lost four games in a row and six on the road. In fact, the Nets had only won three of their last 17. You can now make that four of their last 18.

Dominant third and fourth quarters have paved the way for Brooklyn to claim a big 130-112 win over an L.A. team that had back-to-back wins over OKC and Dallas.

Perhaps a loss like this was always on the cards for the Lakers given the way they had lifted in the past two games but considering the way L.A. opened the game the collapse was unexpected.

Young guard Cam Thomas recorded his fourth 30-point performance off the bench, scoring 35 points in the win while Nic Claxton had 22 points and 13 assists.
