Ireland will never have a greater opportunity to win their first Test in New Zealand against the All Blacks.
A week after being given a reality check by being smashed 42-19, Ireland took an early 10-0 lead before drama unfolded after two yellow cards were handed out and Angus Ta’avao was shown a red card.
The All Blacks rallied, scoring on the stroke of half-time to narrow the margin to 10-7. But it’ll be a tough assisgnment to win with 14 men for more 50 minutes.
For the second straight week Ireland have scored first against the All Blacks, with Andrew Porter crashing over early under the roof in Dunedin.
Johnny Sexton extended that lead out to 10-0 by slotting a penalty.
