The Tigers have reportedly tabled a $1 million extension to maligned halfback Luke Brooks as a roster overhaul looms for the Leichhardt-based club.
Brooks is currently earning north of $1 million this season and negotiations have began for him to remain with the merger club beyond 2023.
According to The Daily Telegraph, head coach Tim Sheens and assistant Benji Marshall are masterminding a new two-year extension worth over $500,000 per-season.

The 28-year-old has been a central figure in the Tigers’ return to form in recent weeks, playing a starring role in a shock Round 9 victory over the Panthers.
However, rival clubs are said to be monitoring his situation and the halfback may look for a fresh start elsewhere.
