Anthony Milford had one of his best games since the start of the Covid pandemic and the Brisbane Broncos won.
In doing so, the Broncos got one over the one that got away Reece Walsh.
Milford was at the centre of the thrilling two-point win with a try, three try-assists, four tackle busts and three linebreak assists.
His performance came soon after the 27-year-old secured his future, as he inked a cut-price deal with South Sydney.
Michael Ennis said Milford was a “great buy” for the Rabbitohs.
But speaking on NRL 360, The Daily Telegraph’s Paul Kent said it was too premature to tell whether the former $1 million man had turned the corner.
