Fresh from his latest cold-blooded finish while leading a major, Brooks Koepka left no doubt on Monday about where his mind and body are at.
“I can still do it, clearly,” the now five-time major-winner said. “I’m healthy. I think I’m back to where I was during that good stretch (between 2017 and 2019).
“I was right there in two majors this year, so hopefully I’m there with two more to go.”
For years, it felt like those words were destined to never be uttered by the hulking Floridian.
Now, with victory at this year’s PGA Championship, Koepka has resumed his charge towards all-time greatness.
