The West Coast Eagles injury crisis has deepened after the club lost three players in the opening half against Collingwood.
Already with 13 players on their injury list heading into Saturday’s clash with the Magpies, West Coast’s woes rolled on with Connor West the first player to go down in the opening term.
West got his legs caught up in a bout of friendly fire, when Magpie Beau McCreery pushed Elijah Hewett off the ball.

Hewett crashed into West’s lower legs, leaving the midfielder to limp from the ground after just nine minutes.
“That’s unfortunate – not much you can do about that at all,” Fox Footy’s Garry Lyon said.
“Teammate pushed into his lower leg and a bit of hyperextension on the left leg,” Jason Dunstall added.
