Melbourne is considering a small triangle patch of land between Collingwood Football Club and AAMI Park for its new all-in-one facility.
The club has spent years attempting to bring its administration and football wings together under the same roof, with projects for Jolimont Station, Melbourne University, Elsternwick Park and Docklands all discussed at board level.
A patch of grass near the Monash Freeway was also briefly considered.
