Embattled former AFL great Wayne Carey is expected to quietly dump his disability claim against Crown Resorts after losing his lucrative media gigs over the ‘white powder’ scandal.
Both Channel 7 and The Age newspaper announced on Thursday Carey would not take part in any media commitments in 2023.
His departure from the media companies comes despite Western Australia Police dropping its investigation into the former North Melbourne premiership player over his latest controversy in Perth.
